In his introductory remarks, the General Manager of the Federation Mr. Christos Karagiannis presented the actions and initiatives of SEVIAN in the field of:
1. The legislative proposals that have been put forward
2. The open public events that were organized
What Mr. Karagiannis stressed in particular, was the need for SEVIAN to intervene and formulate positions on the political and economic crisis of the country.
Then, Chairman Athanasios Katris presented the strategy and objectives for 2012, while Vice Chairman Panagiotis Skiadas referred to the pursuit of the Federation to submit proposals in order to fill the legislative gaps that hinder the implementation of effective environmental policies.
